Proverbs of a 35 yr old man.

You are having a great streak of righteous living. Guarding against unpure thoughts and keeping yourself unspotted from the world. So much so, that your old man, your old sinful nature is hanging on to dear life. Your old self is hanging off the edge of an eternal holy fire, the fire of the Holy Spirit. It flickers violently as the winnowing fork in Christ's hand clears the threshing floor. Gathering the good wheat in our hearts for his barn, and chaff is left in this unquenchable fire. Sparks from this fire begin to land on your old man. He begins to look into your eyes with tenderness and compassion. Saying, please save me! Let's go back to the way it use to be, where we ate of our own sinful fill for days! Relive old memories and live for today for tommorrow we will die! My friend, don't say a word or even reason with evil desires. Instead, kick him in the face and drop him closer to his fiery judgment. Give no opportunity for the old self to grab a hold of your new person in Christ. Soon and very soon, death and hell will be thrown into the lake of fire.  Study Rom. 6:6-23
