Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness. So many people pressed in to touch Jesus, to see Jesus, and to hear Jesus. The crowds flocked to him like sheep without a sheperd. They were helpless and harassed, weary and worn out, so confused and scattered abroad. When He saw the crowds waiting for him all day, some not eaten for days, and some pushing through crowds to hear him. He had compassion on them, his heart touched with pity for them. This is why Jesus said he must go so that the Comforter would come. He has been lifted up from the earth and is drawing all people to Himself. Through the Holy Spirit all people can press in close to the Presence of Jesus. We are not restraint to time and space, Jesus can meet you where you are at. We are called as the body of Christ to draw near to him with boldness. Come and get close to Jesus, yes, go lay upon his breast. Hear breaths of Holy Spirit as he whispers sweet thoughts of salvation towards you!
