Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Lord I expect just and holy results whether or not you chose to grant my requests and petitions. I trust in your will and perfect timing. I imagine all my prayers as stars in the night sky. Shining bright with hope and optimism, asking for them to rise like shooting stars to your presence! Thank you Jesus that every prayer matters to you and that you don't lose it in the night sky. By your power you stretched out the heavens, controlling the sun, the moon, and the stars. Lord, you made the earth and created humans to live on there. But because of sin on our world you feel far from me like the way the moon, the stars, and sun are far from the earth. Yet I feel your Spirit, your Presence, your love so close to me. Sometimes I think I can touch the moon, the sun, yes even the stars as I connect and bring constellations to life. But it is still far away physically not matter what I imagine. What is real, is that I can still feel the warmth of the sun from the distance. I can still see the brightness of stars from a distance. And I can see the moon even in the darkness of the night. Reminding me that you always have an ear open to my prayers. You place them in the night sky and strenghten me with your own fireworks in the sky! What an indescribable joy to see you catch a shooting star with your hands and answer my personal prayer.
