Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Every time I am patient and kind. Every time I am loving and caring. Every time I share peace and joy, exhibiting self control and faithfulness. It's because Jesus is doing this through me, living a righteous life for his glory. I am his branch and he causes holy fruit to bear in my life. We have so many great promises in Christ, will we not pursue them for an abundant life? Let us cleanse ourselves from everything that defiles our body and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. I want to be perfect as our Heavenly Father is perfect. I have this hope that keeps me pure just as Christ is pure. That one day Christ will appear, and when He comes we will be just like him in spirit and in truth. We will see Him as he truly is because we are reflecting his holy nature. Lord, let be wise in this: The one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as Christ is righteous. The one who practices sin is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the very start. This is why the Son of God was revealed, to destroy the works of the devil. Meditate 1 John 3:3
