Proverbs of a 35 yr old man

What does it mean to be alive? Yes, I know you have a pulse and that you can feel yourself breathing. But are you just existing? Letting the days pass by and not realizing that they are a gift. Having a cold enough heart where nothings matters, nothing is sacred. You may be physically alive but you are spiritually dead. You are dead in sin incapable of having peace in your life. Destruction is your final end as you drift into oblivion. Snap out of it! In whose hand is the life of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind? If God should set His heart upon man and withdraw His life-giving spirit and His breath from man to Himself, would not every living thing perish together and mankind return to dust? Yes, this is why we must understand that sin leads to death. The only way to escape that death is to come to Jesus through faith, drawn by the Holy Spirit. Faith in Christ leads to spiritual life, and ultimately to eternal life. Are you spiritually alive or are you just physically breathing?
