Oh To Be Wise Meditations
The sun is shining bright on the land. The earth is fruitful and the sky is joyful blue. The animals are thriving because the rivers are flowing. Milk and honey are in abundance, bees and birds are flying higher and faster than ever. Life is buzzing, everything is peaceful, even the night feels like the dawn. But woe to the inhabitants of the earth and sea for the Devil is come down unto you, having great wrath because he knows he has a short time. Night is coming! Our world keeps going in all its glory as it reflects the hearts of all mankind. We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. With the advancement of technology and science, humans are asking more and more about the purpose and meaning of life. People's hearts are getting as weak as their bodies losing hope for the future. Men's hearts are failing them for fear. On the earth, the nations are in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the seas. People are fainting from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies are being shaken! Realization has not yet kicked in. Though the days of man seem like summer and spring, many do not realize it is already autumn and winter is near. The sun shines bright every day, but over time its light has been getting dim in the hearts of man. Water is rushing and flowing through the mountains but over time its current has been diminishing in the hearts of man. Abundant fruit is growing in the land, milk and honey are streaming into buckets, yet the heart of man has not fruit to bear in their hearts. The peoples of the earth are living in darkness even though there is light in the land. The night is nearly over, and the daylight is near, so let us discard the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light. We should be living properly, as in the daytime when people normally behave themselves. Not engaging in orgies and drunkenness; not practicing sexual immorality and indecent vices; not quarrelsome and jealous. But clothed with the Lord Jesus Christ not making any plans for satisfying the strong desires of your flesh. Are there not twelve hours of daylight? If anyone walks in the daytime, he will not stumble, because he sees by the light of this world. But if anyone walks at night, he will stumble, because he has no light in him. Night is coming! Where there is no vision, no inspiration, and no spirit left in the hearts of man. The darkness in evil hearts will have reflected in our world and the end of the age will have come. The sun darkened, and the moon not giving its light. Stars fallen from the sky, powers of the heavens being shaked. Night has come and the dawn of Righteousness is rising from the east to the west. Receive full remission of sins now in Christ, before the setting sun of Rightousness takes its place forever in mans heart and mind. Do not let your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life. For this day, the rising of the sun of righteousness will close on many suddenly like a trap. For it will come on all those who live on the face of the whole earth. Be always on watch and prayer, that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen. That you may be able to stand before the Son of Man and live in his light forever and ever amen.
