Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Its time for God to take his place in me. I am going to clean up my act and live free from sin and death. I will treat my body as a living temple, a holy place for Holy Spirit to dwell. Whether I eat or drink or whatever I do, I do it all for the glory of God. Being nourished on the truths of the faith and of the good teaching, I am growing in relationship with Christ. Godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come. My body is the Lords instrument of righteousness. Imagine the beauty of the temple that was on earth? Even the temple in heaven? God chose to have his presence not in a far away place, but in the heart of man. The precious jewels of his temple shine on our faces. His glorious veil has been removed from our eyes and Jesus is the light of our body. As a living temple walk in love, just as Christ loved us and gave Himself up for us as a fragrant sacrificial offering to God. Among us the saints, let there not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed. Thank you Lord that as I go deeper in cleaning my life up I realizing you have been in me since the beginning of my faith. Since the day I accepted you in my heart and life you have been working in me and through me. You are making me holy cleaning me from the inside out. I am your temple, your fire is my strength.
