I asked the Lord what is beautiful and He showed me everything he had made. The very beast of the field and every bird of the air, the sky and the waters, and the stars in the heavens. He brought them to me and I thought to myself, this is beautiful. Then he showed me flesh my flesh, bone of bone, woman who was taken from man. I said, Lord truly of all creation, woman is your most beautiful of all creation. Then he showed me the Cross and I saw the love Christ has for his bride, my heart melted away. With tears in my eyes I said, this is true beauty! Only God is truly beautiful because of the beauty of his love for us. I dare not just throw around the word beauty like a normal word anymore. Only God and his covenant of marriage really deserve that title. He allows to share in his beauty through the love of a man and woman. In marriage, call no one truly beautiful except for your husband or wife. This sacred love shines from the Face of God in Christ. It is true beauty coming from God to man, and then man to woman. God has made everything beautiful in it's time. Through the suffering and scourging of the Cross Jesus showed us his beautiful love. His love is changing us making us holy in his time. Study Prov. 30:18-19
