Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Those who want to live godly will be persecuted. To live a lifestyle that reflects the Gospel many times goes against the culture of the world. The more we try to fit into the world the more the world begins to change us. We must be spiritual salt to a moralless society. A people that love others, free from the love of money. Not proud, stuck up, rude and disobedient to authority. But grateful, full of Holy Spirit in heart and in deed. Speaking words of affirmation and not cruelty. Living in self control not letting the flesh attract the desires of evil. We should have pity for our neighbor and have mercy over sacrifice. So many people hate everything that is good and wholesome. Instead of loving God they love pleasure more. Be careful not to make a show of being religious, your faith will not be real when persecution comes. And it will come, but blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness sake; for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. I pray for strengthening to all souls of disciples, encouraging them to continue in the faith. We must endure many harships to enter the kingdom of God.
