The prophets did not think these things up on their own, but they were guided by the Spirit of God. We have the scriptures to teach us and to give us hope and encouragement as we wait patiently for God’s promises to be fulfilled. In these last days God has spoken to us through his Son. Jesus is writing not with pen and ink, but with the Spirit of the living God. He is carving not on tablets of stone, but on human hearts. He is making copies of the Living Word in people by the power of the Gospel. You show are a letter from Christ when allow yourself to be known and read by everyone.
