Oh To Be Wise Meditations

The message about the cross is nonsense to those who are being destroyed, but it is God's power to us who are being saved. Lord, I see sin destroying so many lives in so many ways. So many mistakes that are done because of ignorance and regret is the reward. I have been personally crushed by sin and death. It has taken a toll on my body and soul. My foolishness from youth has taken away many blessings I could have enjoyed in my older age. But I am tired of being destroyed. The message of the Cross has been a cup of cool water while in the heat of much disappoints. It gave me a will to fight and receive power over failures. I was perishing in my shame and the power of Christ life gave me purpose. The message about the cross doesn't make any sense to lost people. But for those of us who are being saved, it is God's power at work in our lives. Christ Jesus has become everything to me, my righteousness, my holiness, and my redemption. Without him my life is a waste, a statistic for all mankind. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is saving me from my past, restoring joy in the present, and giving me hope for the future. Those trusting in the world have to deal with sins destruction that leads to death. Meditate Rev. 6:15-17
