Proverbs of a 35 yr old man

You do not have enough willpower in yourself to sustain your christian walk. Your passion is fleeting, and your body is perishing. You need to ask God daily for Holy Fire that comes straight from heaven. A daily spiritual burning of hot coals over our hearts to stay in hot pursuit of the Lord. Sin is becoming rampant everywhere. Wicked acts are multiplying and lawlessness is increased. The love of many is growing cold. Evil is spreading and causing many people to stop loving and caring for each other. Do not abandon your first love though, which is relationship with Christ. Pursue love from him like you did before, and He will give you the strength to love. Do not let your light become wax cold in these dark days. You are a candle holder and the Lord provides the candle and the fire. Study James 1:21
