The scripture is clear that the Lord's Supper should not be treated casually. This is a sacred meal that examines our attitude and behavior. We should partake of the bread and the cup in a worthy manner. Proclaiming the Lords death until he returns. Worthy does not mean sinless. The Lord's Supper is a meal for sinners. We show we are worthy by having an awareness of our need for forgiveness and grace. Not just focusing on our personal relationship with God but our participation with the body of Christ. God's love is a meal best served hot in the Holy Spirit. This meal fills the soul best when shared with a brother or sister in Christ.
