Proverbs of a 43 yr old man
My eyes of faith have seen!
Job lost his children, possessions, and health. His suffering left him grieving, questioning God, and struggling to understand why a righteous man would endure so much pain.
Yet even in his turmoil, Job held on to hope:
“For I know that my Redeemer lives.” Job 19:25
Job's path to peace was not through finding answers to his suffering, but through a deeper encounter with God.
When God revealed Himself, Job declared:
“I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees you.” Job 42:5
What changed? Job's circumstances had shaken his understanding of God, but encountering God transformed his perspective.
He moved from questioning God's ways to humbly trusting His wisdom, even without understanding everything.
For us, Jesus Christ reveals the heart of our Redeemer. Through His suffering, cross, and resurrection, we discover that God's love is greater than our pain.
True peace is not the absence of suffering or the possession of every answer. It is learning to trust the One who holds us through it all.
Job's journey: From suffering to questioning, from questioning to encountering God, and from encountering God to deeper trust. Sometimes God doesn't change our understanding of our circumstances first. He changes our understanding of who He is.
