Oh To Be Wise Meditations
As long as their is beating breath in me Lord, I am resolved to fight. If I have died to sin how can I live in it any longer? Jesus you have made a way for me to have eternal life now. To experience real righteousness by faith, having victory in the things that are ruining my life. I do not want to spend the rest of my life chasing my own desires, but want to be anxious to do the will of God. I spent enough time living in debauchery, lusting after every wicked thing. I put to death the Law through the body of Christ, so I can belong to another, to the One having been raised out from the dead, so that I should bear fruit to God. For sin will not rule over me, I am not under law, but under grace. Just as sin ruled over all people and brought them to death, now God’s wonderful grace rules instead, giving us right standing with God and resulting in eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. I must keep disciplining my body with spiritual punches and bring it into submission. A spiritual fighter not ashamed by lack of training, but working hard to live in the rest that has been provided in Christ. Lest I be disqualified after I have spread the Good News to others and not lived out myself.
