Oh To Be Wise Meditations

What does it look like to walk with you Lord? What does it mean when Enoch walked with you daily? Enoch walked with you God faithfully and then he was no more, because you took him. It was by faith that Enoch was taken up to heaven without dying. Before he was taken up, he was known as a person who pleased God. So close was his fellowship with you Lord, it became habitually. He sought the face of God more than anything else in this world. Yet Enoch was still a sinner like everyone else and needed the forgiveness Christ offers. Jesus, you will redeem my life. You will snatch me from the power of the grave. You will surely take me to yourself. I am your chosen one and you will not leave me in the grave. At the twinkling of the eye I will be raised in your likeness. You protect me even now from death and keep my feet from stumbling. You want me to walk habitually before you in the light of the living. Jesus is the light of the world and illuminates every soul with spirit and life. Soon darkness will be cut off from the world, and those who walk in darkness will not be able to see where they are going. The lifestyle of the wicked is like total darkness, and they will never know what makes them stumble. The righteous can see the face of Christ clearer and clearer as the dawn of eternal life rising in their hearts. They stay away from things that make them stumble, striving more and more to walk closer to there God. Meditate Ps 89:15
