Oh To Be Wise Meditations

If I am to live by faith I must be in agreement with God and his promises. Can two walk together without agreeing on the direction? No, and it is the same with our relationship with Christ. The Lord promises that when any two of you on earth agree about something you are praying for, my Father in heaven will do it for you. We are to have faith that we will receive whatever we ask for in prayer according to his will. That is the key word their, his will. Our will needs to be in agreement with the Lord's. Can a person do anything to help God? Can even a wise person be helpful to him? When we are in agreement with God and his promises, we are trusting in the sovereignity of God. He does not need our help for anything only our cooperation for the Holy Spirit to flow through. We get into alot of trouble when we try to help God instead of just being faithful. Blessed is the one who finds wisdom, and the one who gets understanding. Because we know Christ we have the path already laid out for us to follow. His life is the light to our path and He is pure wisdom for our foolish hearts and minds. Like Enoch, we have the opportunity to walk by faith with Christ daily. Having fellowship with God, and then one day Jesus will come again to take us home. With hands lifted up in praise, I will truly receive the yes and amen into my arms. In the Lord's presence are chariots of fire and the whirlwind of Holy Spirit will fill me with heavens breath forevermore.
