Proverbs of a 36 yr old man

Suffer the flesh. Since Christ suffered physical pain, you must arm yourselves with the same attitude he had, and be ready to suffer, too. For if you have suffered physically for Christ, you have finished with sin. You must put to death the earthly desires at work within you; such as sexual immorality, indecency, lust, evil passions, and greed. It is due time that we bring righteous anger upon our works of the flesh, upon our evil desires of our hearts. Christ is wanting us to watch for at least one hour. But like the disciples we fall asleep in our faith. The Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. If this is so, then we need to spiritually fight for the freedom Christ has given us. Complancey and doubt will steal the word of God in our hearts and minds. It's time we invest into righteous living and thinking to suffer the flesh. If you fail get up and try again, grace is there. Mercy is here, if only we would fight today for tomorrow. And tomorrow for the next day. God is wanting you to mature in your faith and in your life. He wants you to spiritually watch more than just one hour. He wants a lifetime of pursuing righteousness and truth. Go and start now, grab the sword of truth and suffer the flesh. Let the word of God cut your heart and mind. Study 1 Peter 4:1
