Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Many today have left the ancient road to follow the unknown path. A path that leads away from righteousness and truth, into a lukewarm place of selfish desire. This is what the Lord says: Stop at the crossroads and look around. Ask for the ancient paths: ’Where is the good way?’ Then walk in it and find rest for your souls. People are stumbling over idols in hopes to find meaning and purpose to a sinful life. Sin and death makes you a prisoner and it wants to hand you a death sentence. Even with the word of God turned into flesh many will still not live for Christ. They will not walk in the way because they are bound in chains of guilt and shame. Let your soul be at rest again, for the Lord has been good to you. Jesus has saved your life from death, your eyes from tears, and your feet from stumbling. His love for you is so great that He protected you from death and the grave. In him is the ancient path, let him lead you to eternal life.
