Proverbs of a 36 yr old man

Scales over my eyes. Who are you Lord? Something like scales has fallen from the eyes of my heart. I hear your voice inside me but I don't see you. I feel the warmth of your love and I am overwhelmed by your very Presence in me. You have lead me to this point in my life where truth meets the road. Where fact is stranger than faith, where spiritual sight is clearer than the physical. I was lost for many years in my own world and blind in my own ways, but good people around me always lead me to you Jesus. I have traveled many years in search of meaning and purpose. Now that I have met you in the secret place, I can faithfully see! On the Straight Street is where you placed your nail scarred hands on me and restored my spiritual sight! Now that I see the way, the truth, and the life, I want to walk in it. Baptize me with holy fire, fill my lungs with energy to run towards the streets of gold where you are. Make me your chosen instrument to carry your name before this broken world. How can the blind in this world truly see? Can the scales over their eyes fall like mine? Yes, I believe in everything we do we show that we are God's servants by patiently enduring troubles, hardships, and difficulties. In the secret place you will show me how much I must suffer for your name. For when I am weak, then I am strong. Study Acts 9:1-18
