Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Lord, the pain is unbearable. What I thought was a minor issue in my life I let get out of control. I should have pulled out the weed and not just try to clean up the problem. Sin goes deep within the surface of the heart. It clings to the soul and bears dead fruit in our lives. Consequences thrive from this area and becomes a circle of death we constantly live in. People are born for trouble as readily as sparks fly up from a fire. Constantly getting splinters in our eyes and thorns in our sides. Its amazing how easily we can become hypocrites and suffer with the very things we condemn. Once we have bitten with evil desire the shame it brings pushes us away from God. In the darkness is where pain gets worse and worse, licking our wounds to the brink of death. Why does my suffering continue? Why is my wound so incurable? The Lord's help seems as uncertain as a seasonal brook, like a spring that has gone dry. All day your thirsty for just alittle bit of grace and mercy. Jesus has a way of softening our hearts with the littlest of things. Your waiting on a miracle and joy comes from the most unlikeliest of places. Who among you fears the Lord and obeys the word of his servant? Let the one who walks in the dark, who has no light, trust in the name of the LORD and rely on their God. Look for these little miracles bring you closer to the Light of Christ so you can help us with our pain. Why walk around holding up huge logs in your eyes when Christ can help us truly see our freedom. Lay down in the Fathers lap for prayer and let Christ remove that splintered desire that is causing you pain. The salve of Holy Spirit will heal your heart and mind, allowing him to bring comfort to you. Into your hands I give my spirit; Jesus you are my saviour, O Lord God for ever true. Restore my soul with your tender mercies. Meditate Ps. 38:3-5
