Choices. Wise choices bring good consequences while foolish and evil choices bring bad consequences. It is as simple as that but it is not easy for sinful humanity to do. What one person calls bad another calls good. And no matter what either one decides the choices made affect society as a whole. It is so easy to become a statistic on page and not try to get out of sin. Amazing how society goes people go, and what we choose affects one another. Influence of society has a way of swaying you back and forth. So the godly must choose to live wisely among the wicked. They can smell a fake quicker than we can smell a real Christian. Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand. The quicker we align out plans to God's purpose the better choices we will make. The world does not seek first the Kingdom of God but what is good for themselves. His righteousness is an afterthought and their needs are the forefront. When people choose to follow God and make righteous choices they believe all these things will be added to them. Meaning the hard choices we have to make will bear fruit either now or in the future. Choosing rather to be mistreated with the people of God than to enjoy the fleeting pleasures of sin. We submit ourselves to God and seek his strength to endure daily. Needing Holy Spirit in us to be faithful to the end of a tough decision. Someone will say, "I am allowed to do anything." Yes; but not everything is good for you. I could say that I am allowed to do anything, but I am not going to let anything make me its slave. Slaves to evil desires produces a dried up lake of bad consequences. Righteous desires that comes from God in Christ are flowing streams of good consequences.
