Oh To Be Wise Meditations

I can seek God with my intellect but I will only find him with my heart. I can believe in him but actually not know him. Is he the big man upstairs or Lord and Saviour of my life? In the secret place I must get to know the heart of God. What are his passions, what does he dislike? There is so much to know about God that my finite brain cannot understand. The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only thing that makes sense to me, and that only through the Holy Spirit. Jesus makes sense to me, and what he did on the Cross gives me hope. There is more to learn and more to discover for eternity about the Gospel. For now, I must take delight in the Lord and his word. If I do he will give me the desires of his heart. God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong. Lord, I want to know you more and the power of your ressurection. More than just book knowledge, but heart to heart with Jesus. Meditate Jer. 29:13
