Proverbs of a 36 yr old man

There are many fences we have knocked down because of our pride and ignorance. Overstepping our boundaries and offending people in the process. Its ok to be real and to speak the truth in love. But we are human and we make mistakes often. Stepping over people to get our ideas across or to get a higher position. Take the time to build up the fences you knocked down with people. Be patient in knowing you are doing the Lord's work. The Gospel is about reconcilation with God and with others. Friends mean well, even when they hurt you. But when an enemy puts his arm around your shoulder, watch out! There is wisdom in making peace with your enemies. It is by loving devotion and faithfulness that iniquity is atoned for, and by the fear of the LORD a man turns aside from evil. Jesus himself made peace with his enemies through the Cross. And now He lives to help us mend fences we have broken in our lives and relationships. It's time to allow God to mend our wounded souls.
