Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Lord, my biggest fear is not being here. The life you have given me is wonderful. Though I have been through many trials and tribulations, you have blessed me with your favor. Thank you for the people in my life that love me and care for me. Thank you for the fellowship of the saints that encourage me every day. I am not anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will take care of itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. I only worry not being there for the people that depend on me. The people you have brought to my life that I am a light to. For sure, I want the best that life has to offer them, and also protection from the enemy. You have everything under control, yet like Paul I desire to be with you Jesus and at the same time be with the ones I love. Your divine power has granted to me all things that pertain to life and godliness, I can trust that you will use my life to the fullest for your glory. No matter what happens here on earth, I know you will take care of your people. You will provide for the righteous so they do not beg for bread. So I will eat, drink, and enjoy my work during this short time I have on earth. Knowing that the blessings you give me are rewards for righteous living. One day I will not be here anymore in this world. Praise God, the ultimate reward will be revealed when I see my Savior's face.
