Proverbs of a 40 yr. old man

People who do not obey God are hopeless. Look at the plants that grow near a river, they still need plentiful water. Otherwise, they become dry quickly. You do not even need to cut those plants. Without water, they will die more quickly than grass. If there is little rain only the trees near the stream will grow. The stream represents the ways of God and love for God. If people do not obey God, they will die like those plants. God blesses those people who refuse evil advice and won't follow sinners or join in sneering at God. Instead, they find happiness in the Teaching of the LORD, and they think about it day and night. Amen. We need to be filling daily in the Holy Spirit, with streams of living water flowing from within us. Yes, through the power and life of Christ working in us we can be obedient to the call and will of God for our lives. Now look also this other plant that has been planted in a garden. This plant has plentiful water. And the plant is in the sunshine. So, the plant grows well in the garden. The plant’s roots descend to the rocks. But if someone tears the plant out of the garden, the plant will die. Such a plant has no place in the garden. That plant can only hope that other plants will grow there. Is that not how the body of Christ, The Church is? A joint planting of the LORD where believers can grow and be a part of the beautiful garden His Church. We are one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all, in all, and living through all. one God and Father of all, who is over all, in all, and living through all. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor. But sadly, many believers in the garden are planted on different surfaces and places and are easily plucked out of the Church by sin and temptation. We must be a part of the Body of Christ so that we can grow together beautifully in obedience and love for the truth. When just one plant is missing or hurting, it is noticed in the church garden of God.
