Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Guard what you allow into your mind. From this discipline comes your ability to live a wise life. Your thoughts tend to become actions, and if they are sinful in nature it will destroy us. God has given us a conscious and He wants us to know the difference between right and wrong. Not to try sin and see if we want it, but to avoid sin even in our minds so that we have no association with it in both body and soul. For from within the hearts of men come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, wickedness, deceit, debauchery, envy, slander, arrogance, and foolishness. All these evils come from within, and these are what defile a person. Sound Wisdom is a pure thought away. Lord, help me to guard my heart from evil thoughts through the power of Holy Spirit in me. Having the mind of Christ is the power to save my life. Meditate Prov. 4:23
