Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Christmas time is here! Bells are ringing, voices are singing, and people are beginning to come near to that manger of old. Friends are coming together to celebrate the Glory and Power of Christ in the hearts of humanity. He was born into human flesh and now has been born in our hearts! What a beautiful sight to behold, the resurrected Christ with his nail pierced hands raised in victory! On the mountains a messenger announces to Jerusalem, "Good news! You're saved. There will be peace. Your God is now King." Jesus born as the only begotten of God has come to the earth for salvation of all mankind. Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests. Smell the aroma of Christ as the reason for the season is here once again. Look forward to the day when everyday will be Christmas time. Citizens of the Heavenly Jerusalem, go up on a high mountain and proclaim the good news! Call out with a loud voice, Zion; announce the good news! Speak out and do not be afraid. Tell the towns of Judah that their God is coming! Jesus is coming soon again. Not just in the hearts of his people but on the earth forever. This will be the best Merry Christmas, having the gift of God's physical presence forever.
