Proverbs of a 37 yr old man

Fit for the LORD's house. In a wealthy home some utensils are made of gold and silver, and some are made of wood and clay. The expensive utensils are used for special occasions, while the others are for ordinary use. Each of them though have their uses even in a wealthy home. In the same way, let us be fit for the LORD's house. In the church, there is a variety of people. They do not all have the same work to do for Jesus. But each of them should be ready to do what the God wants them to do. Some of the tasks seem to be better than other tasks. But the tasks that seem to be less pleasant are just as essential. Unfortunately, in the LORD's house their are people that remain like dirty pots and pans that the Savior cannot use. He will throw them away as rubbish. But if you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work. Run from anything that stimulates youthful lusts. Instead, pursue righteous living, faithfulness, love, and peace. Enjoy the fellowship with those who call on the name of the LORD with pure hearts. God planned for us to do good things and to live as he has always wanted us to live. This is why he sent Christ to make us what we are. Vessels for honorable use set apart as holy, yes fit for the Master's house.
