Proverbs of a 37 yr old man

Be a watchmen for the LORD. Yes, an active leader in your family, church, and community. Alert and firm in your faith. Staying brave and strong doing everything in love like a good watchmen does. We must not fall asleep in sin and idleness, but be warning and exhorting those around us that need it. When we do nothing or fall asleep to our God given duties we are like watchdogs with no bark. Ravenous dogs that are never satisfied always wanting and demanding more from honest people. Having no sound discernment because we would rather please ourselves seeking our own advantage. Be a watchmen for the LORD. Do not become blind and ignorant to the wisdom of Christ. And do not become drunk with the wine and spirit of this age. Instead, be filled with the Spirit and hold your post that God has given you in your life. For unless the LORD watches over a city, the watchman stays alert in vain.
