Battle Prayer Notes 12/9/22

Friday topic: Topic: Joyful heart. Joyful life. How can we maintain that daily? God calls us to be joyful in hope? How can having joy in my life keep me humble?

The first thing is to realize that joy is a gift from God.

Experience joy by keeping our focus on godly things rather than on difficult circumstances or discontentment.

One of the keys to joy is living in obedience to God.

Jesus the true vine produces real joy. Different from the fruit of the vine in this world that is not lasting.

The people of Israel will become like mighty warriors, and their hearts will be made happy as if by wine. Their children, too, will see it and be glad; their hearts will rejoice in the LORD.

Zec. 10:7

Dear brothers and sisters, when troubles of any kind come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. James 1:2

Every day God is giving life to somebody. Not just in the body but in the Spirit.

Read Ps. 9:1-4

Looking for joy this morning ask God for more of his presence.

Those the LORD has rescued will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away” (Isaiah 35:10).

We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance.

Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will be joyful in God my Savior. We still have the vine, the pen, and the fields as proof as the goodness of God! Rejoice!

We have to chose to rejoice no matter what because it will produce spiritual fruit that we need to persevere.

What a joy to call on my Heavenly Father.

Say thank you for having a good good father.

Thank you for this life you have given me.

Pure joy comes from the LORD! It’s a gift from the Holy Spirit to edify one another.

The pursuit of happiness is a journey that ends and finds fulfillment in God.

Rejoice is to recall the goodness of God!

Psalm 4:7. you have filled my heart more than when grain and new wine abound.

We can rejoice and have peace knowing God is with us.

Talk to the FATHER more than anyone else he is eager to hear from you and eager to not just answer you but change your circumstances.

The Father rejoices in the son.

Joy can be birth from sorrow.

I have tasted the fruit of joy many times. Let me share with others. Even though trials are bitter at first the joy of the LORD makes sweet of the soul.

Remember the people that have given you joy.

Thank you for another great day of battle prayer!
