Oh To Be Meditations
The broad way is so easy to get lost. So many options and opinions, so many distractions and paths. I was hiking recently and I got to an area that was broad and felt lost. Looked out some signs that lead me to all kinds of different paths I could take. I wanted to stay on the original path I started with I followed the straight path to where I set my course. Great example of how easy it is to get thrown off path of righteousness. The narrow way is so much more safer and wiser. Even though the other paths look way more progressive and more adventurist, the path to eternal life straight towards Christ. No one gets there without Him and no one gets by without Him. Many have chosen the broad way only to find out that Jesus is the gate, the way, the truth, and the life. The good thing about God is where ever we are on the broad path the Spirit of Christ can lead us back to the righteous path. For his name sake He will lead us through the valley of the shadow of death and bring us to eternal life with Him. Jesus walks in the ways of righteousness and in the paths of justice. He will help us discern righteousness and justice and equity, every good path. But for those who are righteous, the way is not steep and rough. You are a God who does what is right, and you smooth out the path ahead of them. In the path of your judgments, O LORD, we wait for you; your name and remembrance are the desire of our soul.
