Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Some people's sins are obvious, preceding them to judgment, but the sins of others surface later. Let those who are wise understand these things. Let those with discernment listen carefully. The paths of the LORD are true and right, and righteous people live by walking in them. But in those paths sinners stumble and fall. In the same way, the good things that people do are obvious, and those that aren't obvious can't remain hidden. No one lights a lamp and then hides it or puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where its light can be seen by all who enter the house. The wise in heart will be called discerning, and pleasant speech increases learning. LORD, turn me away from evil and let me do good, so that I may abide in you forever. Those who know that Jesus is righteous, also know that everyone who practices righteousness has been fathered by him.
