Proverbs of a 37 yr old man
Under the shadow of the Almighty. We ask the LORD for rain in the spring, for he makes the storm clouds. And he will send showers of rain so every field becomes a lush pasture. We are lambs that go tell other lambs where to find safe pasture. Many of them leave behind the boundaries of safety, haven eaten the greenest grass and then trampling down what's left when they finish. Also drinking clean water, but then stepping in the water to make the rest of it muddy for others. Yes, these lambs have gone into far and dangerous places away from God. Places where wild animals roam and prey on lost lambs. But the Shepherd of all lambs has sent out his redeemed lambs with his blessing, to go and bring lost lambs home to his pasture. Without fear and with a spirit of power and love they will face many trials and tribulations. Wolves will come and disguise themselves in many flocks. But the Shepherd will strike his rod and wolves will scatter away. The real lambs will flock together led by the Shepherds voice and love for each other. Together, and many times alone they will face lions, tigers and bears. Lost lambs will caught in a trap about to be eaten by wild creatures. Lambs of the Shepherd are bold like lions though they stand no chance against such wild and wicked creatures. But they run away from little lambs because the Shadow of the Almighty covers the lamb. A Shadow in the form of a Sovereign Lion roaring its power is what they see! The Great Shepherd then comes and brings his lambs back to his pasture. In his arms they protected and never disconnected. Their is no place they would rather be. Falling in love with their Shepherd Jesus is safe and green pasture.
