Oh To Be Wise Meditations
You can't manufacture taste. You either have tasted or have not tasted something. Its experience that helps can a worker a job over the inexperienced. Out of thin air experience can not happen. We need faith to move forward in things and make the best out of mistakes and failures. I wish that on all people that I met and minister to. That they would take the time to taste and see that the LORD is good. See God through thick and thin and your personal experience will be something you will never forget. Through the good times and the bad, Christ can make all things work together for our good. If only we would taste and see that the LORD is good. There is a flavor to faith and its saltiness reminds us of God's love and faithfulness. Rid yourselves, then, of all evil; no more lying or hypocrisy or jealousy or insulting language. That bad taste in your mouth because of sin. Desire God's pure word as newborn babies desire milk. Then you will grow in your salvation. Certainly you have tasted that the Lord is good! I pray that we have moist palate for the presence of God and his word.
