Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Its starts very early in the morning even before the sun up, the LORD opens up his hand and satisfies the desires of every living thing. The eyes of all who look to Him in hope; He gives them their food as they need it. The LORD helps the fallen and lifts those bent beneath their loads. The LORD is fair in all his ways and faithful in everything he does. God is a righteous judge, and strong, and patient, not inflicting vengeance every day. But He is angry with the wicked every day. I know that the Lord will do justice to the needy, and will revenge the poor. You, LORD, hear the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry, defending the fatherless and the oppressed, so that mere earthly mortals will never again strike terror. I must rise up early and be fed by your hand, allowing you to satisfy me with your presence. As the bird gets his morning worm and the duck gets his morning swim. So I must go and receive my portion daily of Christ in me. Satisfying my every need and purpose so that I can fulfill my destiny which is to know Him. In the morning, LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly. The Sovereign LORD has given me his words of wisdom, so that I know how to comfort the weary. Morning by morning he wakens me and opens my understanding to his will.
