Oh To Be Wise Meditations

I see it now! The blood of Christ flowing for you and for me. Blood shed for the sins we have committed. Yes, sin repeated against the knowledge of God allowing it to become a transgression. This producing iniquity which perverts the flesh. I begin to boast in my sin, and take pride in my guilt instead of shame. Unchecked iniquity leads to a state of willful sin with no fear of God. The LORD's kindness is rejected and abomination after abomination is continued until repentance is no longer possible. A depraved heart leads to a reprobate mind that rejects the Holy Spirit's drawing. The blood of Christ flowed on the Cross so the Holy Spirit could flow in us and for us. Jesus pleads his blood for us constantly covering our sin and shame. Forgiving and renewing us, filling us with new life and presence from God. How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God! So let's come near God with pure hearts and a confidence that comes from having faith. Let's keep our hearts pure, our consciences free from evil, and our bodies washed with clean water. We must hold tightly to the hope we say is ours. After all, we can trust the one who made the agreement with us. By his death, Jesus opened a new and life-giving way through the curtain into the Most Holy Place. The blood of Christ flows for our sins so that the Holy Spirit can flow through us and bring us healing. "He took our sicknesses and removed our diseases."
