Oh To Be Wise Meditations
You will enjoy or suffer the consequences of your actions or inactions. We need to make good decisions throughout the day, even our inaction can cause problems. We must abide in Christ daily, moment by moment.
Come and listen to the counsel of the LORD. Let him share his heart with you and make you wise. Repent at his rebuke! Then He will pour out his thoughts to you, he will make known to you his teachings. He calls out to us and we refuse to listen. With an outstretched arm he wants to reach out to us and help us. We need to make good decisions and a good start to this is to fear the LORD. We must receive his correction, if not we will eat the bitter fruit of living our own way. Choking on our own schemes. For the backsliding of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them. Let us prosper in both sprit and body as we live by faith in Gods word. The person who has God's approval will live by faith. But if he turns back, I will not be pleased with him. I will listen to what God the LORD says; he promises peace to his people, his faithful servants-- but let them not turn to folly.
