Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Your loyalty is great and your fidelity is unmatched. There is nobody like you, bless your holy name! Great is your faithfulness Jesus. I look behind me I see you in the thicket. A Lamb slain before the foundations of the world. Telling me its ok to move forward and live a life worthy of your calling. I look ahead I see the Spirit of Christ preparing the way before me. He is making the crooked thing straight, the darkness to shine with light, and a yoke that I can bear. Your goodness and mercy have followed me all the days of my life, that is why in the moment I am secured by your love. Faithfulness springs forth from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven. Drip down, O heavens, from above, and let the skies pour down righteousness. Let the earth open up that salvation may sprout and righteousness spring up with it; you LORD have created it. Through love and faithfulness sin is atoned for; through the fear of the LORD evil is avoided. The LORD has shown us great kindness and faithfulness, may we share that with those around us for the glory of his name. Jesus you have shown yourself faithful by your duty to the Cross. No one forced you, you freely gave your life so that you could raise it up again. Raise me up LORD, according to the power of the Gospel! I want to be faithful like you.
