Oh To Be Wise Meditations

I just realized how straight the narrow path is. You can right up see right up the road that leads the Cross and the grave where He is. Christ has paved the road for us so that we can carry our own cross. It is a great road that was once deserted land. But now is called the Highway of Holiness. Evil-minded people will never travel on it. It will be only for those who walk in God’s ways; fools will never walk there. Lions will not lurk along its course, nor any other ferocious beasts. There will be no other dangers. Only the redeemed will walk on it. Those who have been ransomed by the LORD will return. They will enter Jerusalem singing, crowned with everlasting joy. Sorrow and mourning will disappear, and they will be filled with joy and gladness. But broad is the road of destruction, think about it there is too much open road. Too many forks in the road, too many dead ends and

U-turns. Look to the straight path of Christ, even though small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways. Do not turn to the right or the left; keep your foot from evil. For many are called, but few are chosen. And the chosen are the ones that move in pursuit of the righteous path made available by Jesus. He is the only way to truth and life.
