Oh To Be Wise Meditations
We are people who live by faith. Staying away from dead works by having a living faith that produces good deeds. Although we do not have the fullness of the Kingdom to come, the Kingdom is already here. Already the LORD is wiping away our tears, already He is saving us from death, already He postpones our mourning, and already our crying and pain are alleviated. Even though we eagerly wait for the day when the fullness of what we know will have come to pass. Jesus will swallow up death forever! The Sovereign LORD will wipe away all tears. He will remove forever all insults and mockery against his land and people. I want to free them from the power of the grave. I want to reclaim them from death. Death, I want to be a plague to you. Grave, I want to destroy you. I won't even think of changing my plans. The LORD has spoken! He has made all of this plain to us by the appearing of Christ Jesus, our Savior. He broke the power of death and illuminated the way to life and immortality through the Good News.
