Oh To Be Wise Meditations

Love needs to be so patient so that it allows truth to work itself out. That’s a mouthful I know, but remember most of us had been living a lie. The lie from the enemy himself that life without God is real truth, that we can actually be God. A lot of lies we have sown that we need to be loved and cared for as we relearn to live out the truths of Gods word. Patience is what God exhibited when he created the heavens and the earth. He could have just spoke and everything created instantly. No listen, it took days for all creation to be made. Six days to be exact. And then He took Adam with him and took the time to name all of creation. Love is the key so that patience can produce the peaceable fruit of truth. Oh LORD, we need your truth, your word is truth in my life. Let me grow in your truth as well as be patient with others who are as well. It’s by your love that truth springs all over a dying world. The lies of the enemy have sprung weeds and need to be pulled out. But with patience and care with love for God and people. Children, let us not love one another with words and with speech, but in deeds and in truth. When the wicked one appears, Satan will pretend to work all kinds of miracles, wonders, and signs. He will use every kind of evil deception to fool those on their way to destruction, because they refuse to love and accept the truth that would save them. So God will make sure they are fooled into believing a lie. All of them will be punished, because they would rather do evil than believe the truth. God was wise and decided not to let the people of this world use their wisdom to learn about him. Instead, God chose to save only those who believe the foolish message we preach. Love is patient and kind. We must take the time to know Him who is truth. Jesus Christ our LORD!
