Oh To Be Wise Meditations

A personal word. Give us a personal word LORD. Speak directly into my situation and give the privilege of your presence in my midst. I ask that the eyes of my heart be enlightened, so that I may know the hope of your calling, the riches of your glorious inheritance in the saints, and your incomparably great power for us who believe. My ears have only heard of You but I now want my eyes to have seen you working in my life. Oh what joy to actually receive a personal word from the LORD. Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs it down, But a good (encouraging) word makes it glad. Come LORD Jesus bring me an encouraging from your lips. The Lord GOD has given Me the tongue of discipleship, to sustain the weary with a word. He awakens Me morning by morning; He awakens My ear to listen as a disciple. For I rise before dawn and cry for help; in Your word I have put my hope.
