Oh To Be Wise Meditations
I see a spirit man entangled by the flesh. Never able to be free from the bondage of evil thinking. Oh mercy, how horrible to live in sin that is produced from your heart. So many people have accepted Christ as there Savior but have never tasted the freedom that God offers. Its a peace that surpasses all understanding, and few ever find it. It is in the midst of deep trials and tribulation that real spirit and life can be birthed. Not to say that joy can't be found in the good times, but there is a sanctifying fire that burns deep within when times are desperate and we need a word from the LORD. I speak release in the name of Jesus over the unfruitful mind. A loosening of wicked desires and the strength to overcome them. For God did not call us to be impure, but to live a holy life. Therefore, anyone who rejects this instruction does not reject a human being but God, the very God who gives you his Holy Spirit. And when people escape from the wickedness of the world by knowing our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and then get tangled up and enslaved by sin again, they are worse off than before.
It would be better if they had never known the way to righteousness than to know it and then reject the command they were given to live a holy life. It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.
