Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Because we are still infected with sin, it is impossible to be filled with the Spirit all the time. When we sin, we should immediately confess it to God and renew our commitment to being Spirit filled and Spirit led. Sin is what hinders the filling of the Holy Spirit, and obedience to God is how the filling of the Spirit is maintained. Only our obedience to God's commands allows the Spirit freedom to work within us. God the Father knew you and chose you long ago, and his Spirit has made you holy. As a result, you have obeyed him and have been cleansed by the blood of Jesus Christ. May God give you more and more grace and peace. We are moment of salvation received the indwelling of Holy Spirit. It is a deposit of good things to come if do not quench or grieve the Spirit. We need a constant filling of Holy Spirit to grow in the knowledge and image of God in Christ. The good thing for us is that Jesus has become the Righteousness of for us. We have already attained because Jesus attained. We live because He lives. Day be day he is healing and undoing the what ravages of sin has done to our hearts and lives. Be filled with Holy Spirit. Amen.
