Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Why do we feel so dirty after sin? You try to cleanse yourself with reason but guilt stains easily and it’s hard to get it out of your mind. It’s a nakedness of soul that naturally makes you run from consequences, people, and especially God. Unfortunately people will rub it in and leave you in sin and shame. Many will offer you their condolences but have no grace for you. Your to dirty for them to deal with. We can’t rely on man to help us with our stains of guilt and filth, they are as dirty as us, many just don’t realize it. We must come back to God and find cleansing in the blood of Christ. A soaking in his blood of conscious and soul, and finding a new way to serve God in spirit and not the flesh. Yes, repent and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord. That is what the presence of Jesus does to our hearts and minds. A fresh strength and vigor that comes from our Messiah Jesus. Meditator between God and man. He is jealous over us, we are betrothed as a pure virgin to one Man, to present to The Messiah. That he might present us to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. We can be clean again, its a daily cleansing we must partake of as we are being renewed in spirit day by day. Guilt and shame has robbed us from the light of heaven. As we stay in the Light of Gods word and presence in Christ. Our nakedness and sin will quickly be covered, for Christ's love covers a multitude of sins. Because the Sovereign LORD helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore, I have set my face like a stone, determined to do his will. And I know that I will not be put to shame.
