Oh To Be Wise Meditations
I am waiting for you LORD. Even if I die waiting, I know you will raise me up again to see what you have promised me. So many things I am waiting for but none of these things compare meeting to meeting you face to face. I have found that in all the years of my existence that your love is truly better than life. Your love is like a fire that is stronger than death itself. It spreads over my heart and mind burning heaps of coal over my head when I get the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life acting up in me again. I find it amazing how those who are waiting on the LORD find new strength every day. The Holy Spirit keeps hope alive even to the very end of a matter. Its because Gods love in us causes us to never gives up, never lose faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance. Imagine being given what you been asking for your whole life and it being given to you personally through the hands of Jesus Himself. You would drop instantly what you been asking for and receive the one finally gave it to you. So I will wait and look foolish before man, they may laugh and scoff at my belief that God can bear something I have been asking for so long even in my old age. But I believe all things are possible because of the powerful mystery of faith. Christ in me, the hope of glory! He can give birth in me at any moment. He has the power to give life and to take it away. Amen. And if you need someone to wait with you my friend. I will wait with you and we will Jesus together face to face.
