Oh To Be Wise Meditations
O LORD, our Lord, How majestic and glorious and excellent is Your name in all the earth! You have displayed Your splendor above the heavens. You have taught children and infants to tell of your strength, silencing your enemies and all who oppose you. Born again children of faith can’t help but testify to the glory and honor of Jesus. Just like a child of innocence and humility speaks the truth in love so believers can’t help but speak the name of Jesus. Even if evil wants to deny and slander the God of Creation, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac and Jacob, the God of the Jew and the Gentile. All things will cry out praise to the most High! Let the trees clap together. Let the rocks cry out that Jesus is LORD. The pastures are clothed with flocks, and the valleys are decked with grain. They shout in triumph; indeed, they sing. Let heaven and earth praise Him, the seas and everything that moves in them. Sing a new song to the LORD! Sing his praises from the ends of the earth! Sing, all you who sail the seas, all you who live in distant coastlands. Join in the chorus, you desert towns; let the villages of Kedar rejoice! Let the people of Sela sing for joy; shout praises from the mountaintops! Let the whole world glorify the LORD; let it sing his praise. The LORD will march forth like a mighty hero; he will come out like a warrior, full of fury. He will shout his battle cry and crush all his enemies.
