Oh To Be Wise Meditations

The LORD does not let the righteous go hungry, but He denies the craving of the wicked. Seeking can become a lifetime experience for believer in Christ. We are called to seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. What things? Earthly things? Like wealth and material? Or like prestige and honor? I think the things Jesus is calling us to spiritual that leads to the natural. We have to stop pursing God just so we can get something from Him. No, we need to pursue God all the days of our lives so that his goodness and mercy follow us all the days of our lives. So that when we seek to Know God in Christ Jesus we are at total abandon to this world and its cares. Yes, material blessing come but they also go. What we should always hungry for is Gods presence and seeking to know Him daily. And that through loving our families, serving in churches, and pursuing reconciliation with our enemies of the Cross. In hopes that we reap burning coals on top of their heads and that God gets glory for our determined pursuit of Him. O God, You are my God, earnestly I seek You; my soul thirsts for You; my body yearns for You in a dry and weary land without water. For you satisfies the thirsty and fill the hungry with good things. I will seek you all the days of my life to grow in wisdom and knowledge and favor with God and man. Praise God! He who pursues righteousness and loving devotion finds life, righteousness, and honor. What the wicked man dreads will overtake him, but the desire of the righteous will be granted. If its the LORD Jesus you seek. How much more will He give us the Holy Spirit when we ask Him.
