Oh To Be Wise Meditations
Eventually, the best of the best and the strongest of the strong are humbled. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted. No matter who you are or affluence you may have. No matter how much money or strength you have, you will be humbled in this life. And don't bring people down with you when you are. This is typical wicked humanity to bring others down while they are down, instead of relying on God to lift you up. Fear of the LORD teaches wisdom; humility precedes honor. God humbles everyone, he shows no favoritism. Yes, anyone who does wrong will be repaid for his wrong, and there is no favoritism.
